Overview
DASH (Digital Asset Storage Hub) is a secure, AI-powered media library designed for businesses that manage large volumes of product imagery, marketing materials, and digital documents. Upload your assets once and DASH handles the rest , auto-tagging, optimisation, and on-demand delivery in any size or format.
integration_instructions Commerce integration: Assets stored in DASH can be linked directly to product listings in the Commerce module, keeping your imagery and products in sync without duplication.
Uploading Assets
DASH accepts files via drag-and-drop, direct file selection, or bulk upload. There is no need to pre-process or resize your assets , always upload the highest-resolution original and let DASH handle optimisation.
- Navigate to DASH → Library and click Upload, or drag files directly onto the library view.
- Select one or more files. You can upload up to 100 files in a single batch.
- While uploading, DASH begins AI analysis in the background. You don't need to wait , you can continue working.
- Once complete, assets appear in your library with auto-generated tags ready to review.

AI Auto-Tagging
Every asset uploaded to DASH is automatically analysed by our AI engine. The engine identifies objects, colours, patterns, text, and context within the asset and assigns relevant tags and metadata , so your library is fully searchable without any manual work.
Searching & Filtering
The DASH library search bar queries asset names, auto-generated tags, your custom tags, alt text, and linked product SKUs simultaneously , so a single search term surfaces results across all of your metadata.
tips_and_updates Pro tip: Combine search terms with filters for precise results. For example, search "sofa" and apply the PNG file type filter to find only PNG sofa images in your library.
Available filters:
- File Type , images, video, documents, design files
- Collection , narrow to a specific folder or collection
- Uploaded By , filter to assets added by a specific team member
- Date Range , show assets uploaded within a specified period
- Linked Product , show assets associated with a specific product SKU
Image Optimisation
Upload your original full-resolution assets and DASH automatically generates optimised derivatives for web delivery. You never need to manually resize or compress images.

Organising Your Library
DASH gives you two organisational tools that work alongside tags: Folders for strict hierarchical grouping, and Collections for flexible, curated sets of assets that can span multiple folders.
Folders
A traditional hierarchical structure. Each asset lives in one folder. Great for organising by season, campaign, or product line where clear ownership matters.
Collections
A curated set of assets grouped around a theme or project. An asset can belong to multiple collections at once , perfect for campaign packs or media kits.
Access & Sharing
DASH gives you full control over who can view, download, or edit your assets , both inside your organisation and externally.
schedule Link expiry: Shareable links can be set to expire after 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or never. We recommend using expiring links for sensitive or embargoed assets.
